1st Virtual Regional SRHR forum to disseminate WHO guidelines on Safe Abortion / Post Abortion Care and Self-Care for SRHR Interventions

As part of its normative work, WHO regularly develops and/or updates guidelines for adoption, adaptation and use by countries to improve health outcomes.

It is in this context that WHO has recently developed guidelines on SRHR including Safe Abortion and Self-care Interventions for Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights to improve access to quality health services and reduce maternal mortality due to preventable causes using health system approach in health facilities as well as in communities.

To ensure that countries are well informed about these guidelines, WHO/AFRO organized this meeting to disseminate the guidelines, share experiences from countries that adapted the guidelines and allow countries to develop specific plans for implementation.

This webinar is the first in the series of webinars  WHO/AFRO intend to organize in 2021 to disseminate the latest guidelines on SRHR .
